The New 2021 CG Wizard NG by Daniel Maiorano replaces the Digitech CG Wizard 3.0 Pro.
This new version of the ever popular CG Wizard is an easy to use set of Wireless / Rechargeable Center of Gravity Scales.
This new NG version is even easier to use as it is supplied as three wireless scales in a great protective plastic box with a charge lead.
Setting the Center of Gravity for a model plane is very important and sadly overlooked in many cases.
This new set of scales works with your phone or tablet and is simple to set up. You will be able to see live changes to the CofG while you move batteries etc around giving the perfect setup first time.
What is it?
The CG Wizard is a extremely easy tool to find your CG on your Model aircraft.
How does it work?
It measures the CG using Weight scales, just like Full size aircrafts use.
Is it easy to use?
YES! Our goal was to make ours very easy to use without to many data to be given into the software, this is called the K.I.S.S principle
Please Note: The NG units are shipped with the internal batteries in a storage state and will need charging before use. (Cable included)

In short :
Step 1 Start the App (Android or IPhone) and set up a new model or use an existing model.
Step 2 Position the scales but do not turn on yet!
Step 3 Mark your CG position on the underside of aircraft.
Step 4 Position the scales with the aircraft sitting on the scales and mark a line or use a straight edge such as a rule or Carbon strip across the rear sensors.
Step 5 tell the app how far the sensors are apart
Step 6 You can place a laser under the Manufacturer CG spot (Available from Xicoy) or use another way mark the COG point.
Step 7 Measure the distance from the laser (red dot on cg) towards the Back of the main Scale and remember this number! Or type this number into the app!
Step 8 Now look on the app where the CG is currently and move your weight around until the number you measured is spot on! (shows on App where it is currently and where it should be).
Does it need anything extra like batteries or other tools?
NO Each CG Wizard NG comes with a built in li-ion batter for hours of constant power!.
Only things you need are a tape measure / Straight Edge
How do I get to know about a CG correction or “sweet spots”?
We solved that issue by sharing info! , we use a online database that shares this info with you.
You can make a entry yourself , save it on your phone , and even share it , you can call up on experienced pilots that will share their settings with you.
You can simply select your model or save it share it or import it!
There is now a growing database of models in the app shared by others so your model may even be already listed in the model list to make life even better.
Do I need a friend to help me with the CG?
You can invite him for a beer and show him how to find the right CG in 5 minutes!
